‘Breathe Well’ with Panasonic IAQ Solutions
In a first for North American home builders, ARISTA Homes is offering Breathe Well by Panasonic indoor air quality (IAQ) solutions as a standard feature of its Oakpointe community in Oakville, Ontario. Every new single-detached home and freehold townhome in Oakpointe will come equipped with an energy recovery ventilator (ERV), air purifiers and smart controls, ensuring that homeowners breathe clean, fresh air right from day one. ARISTA’s collaboration with Panasonic on this project is a response to the growing demand among home buyers for healthy, sustainable living spaces.
Post pandemic, people have become more discriminating about the quality of the air they breathe, knowing all too well the kind of impact it can have on their health and well-being. The average person in Canada spends about 90% of their time indoors, where air quality can be five times worse than outdoors. Swidget smart controls will monitor the air quality throughout each home and automatically turn on system components, as needed, to maintain optimal conditions.
