Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has now released their proposed changes to the ENERGY STAR for New Homes (ESNH) Standard, Version 12 builder option packages (BOPs) for Ontario.
The revised performance targets and BOPs reflect the changes to the new Ontario Building Code - as outlined in MMA Supplementary Standard SB-12 Energy Efficiency for Housing (July 7, 2016 update) - that comes into effect after December 31, 2016.
Comments on the proposed changes are now being accepted.
The comment period is open until January 23, 2017.
To provide comments, please complete the spreadsheet, and ensure that all cells under the blue header row are completed. Note that there are three designated sections for each of the proposals. Additional rows may be added as necessary.
