ENERGY STAR® is a name and program with which most Canadians are familiar. Leverage this trusted label by building ENERGY STAR® qualified homes, proving to your homebuyers that your homes will offer better performance and lower utility bills – all while helping prevent greenhouse gas emissions.
ENERGY STAR® certified homes feature energy-saving choices such as upgraded insulation, high-performance windows, air sealing and duct sealing and more efficient HVAC systems, which add both to occupant comfort and ongoing energy cost savings for the homeowner. These homes typically include ENERGY STAR® certified products such as light fixtures and bulbs, furnaces, water heaters and upgraded ventilation systems for improved indoor air quality and energy savings.
One of the other advantages to both consider and promote to homebuyers is the potential higher resale value of an ENERGY STAR® home.
ENERQUALITY is the leading certifier of ENERGY STAR® in Canada.
