Certification Details

EnerQuality workshop completion certificates can be submitted for Continuing Education credits for the following organizations:

  • Ontario Association of Architects
  • Ontario Building Officials Association
  • Professional Engineers Ontario
  • Association of Energy Engineers

Continuing Education Credits Letter

Students not seeking the certification, and rather requesting a letter for continuing education credits, the letter will be provided to you following the course wrap up, and after EnerQuality’s Training team confirms your hours of attendance in the online course.

Prerequisites

Students registering for this course MUST have successfully completed an Advanced Building Science course within the past 3 calendar years. Students taking the NZB course prior to an ABS certification course will be required to complete an ABS course before you can receive your certificate of completion + register with CHBA as a trained NZ Builder.

An exam at the end of the course is designed to confirm that participants have learned the key Net Zero Builder material. A passing grade is 75%.

Toby is a Qualified Net Zero Trainer, and has been working in the energy efficiency sector since 2002. He brings a passion for top tier energy performance and comfort in the built environment. His past project work includes corporate and government research projects, training energy advisors, energy modelling, field assessments, building code compliance (NBC,SB12 & SB10), incentive programs, and project management on existing and new homes, commercial and institutional buildings.

Since 2017, Toby has been engaging with clients to help them navigate their individual path to high performance, low energy homes that deliver comfort for years to come.

Cancellation Policy

EnerQuality endeavours to be as flexible as possible with our cancellation policy. In the event you are unable to personally attend a workshop, you may, with prior notice, substitute another representative from your company. A refund (less $50 administration fee) will be issued for cancellations made up to 14 days in advance of the workshop. Contractual obligations and agreements with third parties may require for the policy to be amended or revised from time to time. EnerQuality reserves the right to reschedule, relocate, or cancel events. Should this be required, we will provide prior notice to all registrants.
